Magnificent vegetable soup tureen stamped in Onnaing earthenware (Nord) France (1880-1900). You will use it to present and keep warm soups, stews, broths, ratatouilles, daubes, saucy dishes... Its small size makes it very easy to use in all circumstances. It will match all styles of tables. It will also be perfect as a decoration in a charming kitchen. The decorative patterns with blue and gold stripes are quite classic and date from the late 19th century to the early 20th century. The decoration on the lid in the shape of foliage, at the handle, is very elegant. There are some losses on the edges, due to its age (over 100 years). No cracks, just a small accident at the handle of the lid which is hardly noticeable, and a few age-related stains. It is in very good condition considering its age; it is not cracked or chipped, it shows signs of use, but this adds to its authentic character and charm. Height to the lid handle: 14 cm Height at the handles: 7.5 cm Diameter at the top: 19.5 cm Diameter at the base: 11.5 cm Depth: 6.5 cm Width from handle to handle: 28.5 cm Weight: 1.3 kg.
