In 1894 he built his own factory at 83 montjovis suburb of limoges and entrusted the management of it to arnold grob, a swiss national, who was previously his sales agent in zurich. The factory developed and was noticed at the 1925 international exhibition of decorative arts in paris, where it won the grand prix. A financial group bought the plant in 1958, which ceased operations for good in 1969.
