Set of 8 silver-plated dessert spoons, 'REX' goldsmith's work

Set of 8 dessert spoons (14cm) in silver plated metal from the 'rex' silversmith house in Paris, produced by 'orbrille'. 2 hallmarks on each cutlery '18 gr & rex' and on the knife blades 'rex symbol crown stainless steel'. Louis XV Regency style, double-sided motif of leaves and long, finely intertwined stems. This series corresponds to No. 0207 in the 'rex' silversmith catalogue. Circa 1950/1960. Note traces of use on the cutlery (see photos) and barely visible desilvering on the back of 3 spoons (see photos). This set of spoons is part of a set of 87 pieces which has lost none of its splendor and will undoubtedly last for several more decades. All pieces are sold in separate lots.
