Bent beech armchair by Jacob & Josef Kohn, 1900s.

Curved beech armchair produced by Jacob & Josef Kohn (Vienna) in the early 1900s (model no. 712). Later renamed "B9" or "Le Corbusier" when the Thonet brand took over its production. Seat made of thermoformed wood with a circular perforated wooden seat and a beautiful floral decoration. Superb original colour and patina. A certificate of authenticity is attached under the seat, with an ink marking on the inner edge. Seat height 45 cm. Dimensions: H 75 / W 58 / D 52 cm. Seat diameter: 45 cm. Notable is the superb condition of the entire piece, making this armchair a collector's item, a timeless classic of Viennese style from the 1910s/1920s.
