Vintage 1970s architect's desk lamp RDA (DDR - GDR) red - 50 cm

Vintage architect's desk lamp in red and black lacquered metal, designed and manufactured in former East Germany (GDR) circa 1970, in good condition. This lamp is of East German manufacture (ex-GDR); we have found other models bearing the label "made in GDR" (photo available upon request). It is a relic from a time when the world was divided between the modern West and the Soviet bloc. It is complete and functional, with the paint showing slight wear and some patina from time, as well as a few minor dings here and there, but they are very discreet. It works with a large E27 screw bulb, not included. The electrical components are original. It measures 50cm in height, 50cm in depth, and the diameter of the shade is 19cm.
