Vintage sculptural table lamp in yellow ceramic from Manises, Valencia, Spain, circa 1960, paired with a bespoke retro Liberty London lampshade in a limited edition with double Houlès cord by Amitābha Studio. The butter yellow glazed ceramic base comes from Manises, Valencia, a historic centre of Spanish ceramic production since the Middle Ages. With its characteristic fluted column, bulbous sculptural details, and glossy glaze, this piece exemplifies the refined mid-century production of the region's most renowned workshops, most likely Bondia, known for its sophisticated residential lighting and decorative arts. The bespoke drum-shaped lampshade is made from authentic Liberty London fabric featuring a bold large-scale floral pattern – chrysanthemum flowers in golden yellows, warm oranges, deep blues, and rich browns on a navy background. The exuberant painted design evokes the maximalist bohemian aesthetic of 1970s interiors while retaining the timeless quality of Liberty's archive prints. Finished with a complementary double Houlès passementerie trim in yellow tones.
