Twisted vintage lamp – handmade Indian lampshade

An old lamp completely renovated and reimagined with care. Its twisted base has been repainted in a soft green. Brass details have been added to provide a more refined finish: a small disc at the top of the base and a brass ring, in harmony with the socket. These golden touches subtly warm the green of the base and echo the shades of the lampshade. The lampshade has been handmade from a lovely Indian fabric, featuring raspberry, pink, ochre, and green tones on a light background. It is finished with an ecru fringe and a fine green soutache, chosen to highlight the pattern without weighing it down. The electrical components have also been completely renewed: new E27 socket, black textile cable, switch, and plug. A unique piece, restored and transformed by hand, that retains the charm of the old. Slight traces related to its age may remain and are part of its history.
