Annotated on the back with a label "kitchen garden of the Château d’Aguesseau" The Château d'Aguesseau is a residence located in the territory of the French commune of Trouville-sur-Mer in the Calvados department, in the Normandy region. The building is partially listed as a historical monument. The château is built on a terrace, overlooking the valley of the Touques, on the large slope leading to Saint-Gatien, at the exit of Trouville, in the French department of Calvados. The current château succeeds the "manor of Trouville-sur-Mer, " a possession along with the land of Trouville belonging to the Nollent family. It was probably built in the early 17th century by Robert de Nollent, son of Élie de Nollent, lord of Trouville, and Jehanne d'Harcourt.
