Set of 4 Dessert Plates in Ironstone "Flora" – Creil et Montereau, 19th Century, Blue Dessert plate in fine earthenware / ironstone. From the famous "Flora" pattern of the Creil et Montereau factory, this model features a delicate floral decoration in blue monochrome printed under the glaze. Stamped with the historical mark L.M. & Cie, this shaped piece was produced between 1855 and 1876, making it a superb witness to 19th-century table arts during the Third Republic. Dimensions: Diameter: 19.5 cm Height: 2 cm Condition: Very good overall condition for its age (1 micro chip on one plate). An object over 100 years old, it shows signs of time and manufacturing (normal crazing of the glaze), see photos.
