Side table with a twisted leg and a top covered with a sheet of lead.

Charming small antique side table with a very decorative character, featuring an elegant twisted wooden leg painted black, resting on a base adorned with a delicate carved acanthus leaf design. Its circular top is covered in lead, offering a rare and nuanced material. Over time, the metal has developed a superb patina with changing reflections, blending deep greys, oxidised traces, and almost mineral variations that make this piece particularly unique. With its balanced proportions and strong aesthetic, this table will easily find its place as a side table, guéridon, or small stool in an eclectic, classic, or more contemporary interior. The table is in very good overall condition, with a beautiful presence and an authentic patina that fully contributes to its charm.
