Beautiful pair of decorative wall panels, solid wood, probably oak with a lovely dark patina. Antique from the 19th century, 1850-1880, French or European work. Decorated with dark sculpted bas-reliefs, vertical format, featuring a floral basket and scrolls, with a dotted background. Careful sculpture, likely elements of furniture, with 4 visible holes on the front. Height 53.5cm, width 17.7cm, thickness 1cm. Generally in good condition. One panel has no notable defects. The other has two through cracks at the top and bottom, which are not compromising, as well as a trace of white paint at the bottom, relatively discreet defects. An old hook on the back of each. Weighs approximately 700g.
