Pair of antique decorative panels in carved wood, 19th century

Beautiful pair of antique carved wooden panels with floral decoration from the 19th century, consisting of two elements forming a symmetrical design around a flower basket. The carving work is rich and very lively, with beautiful reliefs representing flowers, foliage, scrolls, and acanthus leaves on a fully textured background. The dark patina of the wood particularly highlights the details and adds a lot of depth to the whole piece. These panels were once elements of furniture, woodwork, or architectural decoration. Today, they easily find their place in an old, rustic, chic country, Renaissance, or curiosity cabinet interior, whether hung on the wall or simply placed on a shelf or piece of furniture.
