Pair of antique bronze mirrors – Louis XV / Rococo style – 19th century

Beautiful pair of small antique mirrors in solid bronze, richly decorated in the Louis XV / Rococo style, dating from the late 19th century. Superbly adorned with scrolls, shells, and acanthus leaves, these mirrors feature a lovely old patina with natural traces of verdigris. The glass is original, bevelled, with small signs of age typical of their period. Originally, these models often existed in wall sconce versions with candle holders; it is noted that the candle arms have been removed.
