Exceptional and unique set. Wonderful triptych of 19th-century antique mirrors, in wood and gilded stucco in the Louis XV / Rocaille style. Three mirrors each framed with finely sculpted Rocaille ornamentation. The gilded wood, using a mixture of gold leaf according to the areas, presents a warm patina, with a slight matte velvety texture characteristic of old gilding. Each frame adopts an elongated shape with curved edges, rhythmically adorned with acanthus leaves, leafy scrolls, and open shells, typical of the Louis XV style. The central mirror, more rounded, subtly stands out with its different pediment, giving the whole piece a beautiful presence. The frame's contour features beaded or fluted relief. The back was redone a few years ago. Hanging hooks are provided at the top and bottom to allow you to choose the orientation. The glass is antique and in very good condition. The frames are also in good condition, showing a few minor scuffs. They are beautifully patinated by time.
