Art glass candleholder by Göte Augustsson Ruda Glasbruk

A stunning, massive, bright orange vintage glass candle holder or small vase from the Selena series, made by the talented Göte Augustsson for Ruda Glasbruk, Sweden. This is a very special piece with a bold design. It has a very bright orange base which fades into a yellow top, the colours are very intense and the surface of the vase is slightly uneven, resembling melted glass. The artist's work was always simple and sleek, with a brutal art twist. It gives a fantastic bright orange light as light shines through the vase and will be a statement piece on its own. It is 10.5 cm high and around 8.5 cm in diameter and is in very good condition. Note that this vase is rather heavy, 950g.
