The danish shelving system was designed by preben sorensen in the 1960s and manufactured by ps system, as it proves the original label on the cabinet. This bookcase is an entirely modular shelving system that can be arranged as required. Two cabinets and five shelves provide enough space for storage and exposing books and decorations. The set includes two shelves 45 cm deep that can be used as a desk, ideal for a home office, or deep shelves when needed. All components are finished in teak veneer and hang on solid wood rails with brass hangers and pins. The set consists of: – 3 shelves 20 cm deep, – 2 desk-shelves 45cm deep, – one display shelf for magazines 30 cm deep. – a cabinet with sliding doors h: 50 / w: 80 /d: 45 cm. – a cabinet with glass doors h: 35 / w: 80 / d: 30 cm. – 3 wooden wall rails, each 200 cm long, – brass fittings and bolts. The wall unit has been checked by our tem. We have made sure that all components fit together and doors work properly. Some of the most damaged parts we need to sand down and refinish, the rest of unit has been cleaned and coated with layers of danish oil.
