RARE VINTAGE SIDEBOARD of very HIGH QUALITY in BURMA TEAK, with "curtain" doors. Stamped UNIFA (for Union Nationale des Industries de Fabrication de l'Ameublement, bringing together quality workshops in the 60s.) 2 SLIDING SIDE DOORS, in TEAK slats (solid), which retract to the sides, (no laminated fabric on the back, but just 1 very virtuoso cabinetmaker's work.) cut from the mass of the most decorative part of the wood. This is not "veneering" with a thin sheet of wood, called "unrolled sheet" (not like many mass-market furniture at the same time.) NO RISK OF SEEING the surface peel off, warp, split, (inconveniences which damage thin veneers, "with a sheet", much less qualitative...) The same goes for the interior of the furniture, splendid surfaces, and a makeover has given them back their most beautiful shine. Drawer boxes (except front face) in solid birch, mortise/tenon assembly. Slides renovated identically to the original parts (in molded PVC. Original shelves, IMPECCABLE Teak veneer with natural products, respectful of wood, beeswax finish. Dimensions: length = 2.40m height = 84cm width = 50cm weight = approximately 100kg.
