Scandinavian Enfilade Danish Style – Solid Teak and Veneer – 1960s

Scandinavian-style sideboard from the 1960s, made of solid teak and teak veneer on a plywood structure. The silhouette is low and horizontal, characteristic of Nordic furniture from this period. The piece consists of two pairs of sliding doors with recessed rectangular handles, framing a central block of four drawers with wave-shaped sculpted fronts, a typical stylistic detail of Danish design from the 60s. The tapered, slightly angled legs visually lighten the whole. The top features a crown grain of teak. The side compartments are equipped with adjustable plywood shelves, in good functional condition. Workshop report: visible surface wear on the top and slight discolouration on the sliding door panels. Cleaning and re-oiling of the teak are required. Sliding doors and drawers are functional.
