Easy chair and coffee or side table, Gebr. Jonkers, 50/60s

This is a rare find! An easy chair, armchair, designed by Dirk van Sliedregt for Gebroeders Jonkers and a matching side table, coffee table from the same manufacturer but designed, most probably, by Johan de Boer. Chair and table have a matte chromed metal base. The seat or core is rattan woven, with armrests in ash wood. The rattan has obtained a dark brown colour over the years but is in good, solid condition. The table top has scratches but is still its original top, so over 60 years old. Chair size: height 79 cm, seat height 41 cm, depth 67 cm. Table size: height 43 cm, length 64 cm, depth 43 cm. Tray only: 51 X 38 cm.
