Vintage brass side table with smoked glass, 1970s

An elegant design from Germany, 1970s. Two layers of semi-transparent smoked glass rest on a slender brass frame. The rounded corners and fine proportions give the whole a light, almost floating appearance. Light plays through the glass and casts a soft glow over the brass. The strength lies in the simplicity. The slender uprights, the spherical details, and the balance between glass and metal create a timeless whole that is easy to combine. Next to an armchair, as a reading table, or as a compact coffee table in an open setting. In our workshop, we have completely disassembled the table. The brass has been carefully polished so that the warm shine is visible again. The original glass tops have been cleaned and checked. Everything is back in balance, ready for a new phase. A table that does not ask for attention, but naturally gets it.
