Pierre Vandel, coffee table with two tops

Beautiful brass side table with smoked glass tops. This occasional table, although unsigned, is typical of the work of Pierre Vandel, a French publisher known for his high-end and original furniture. The coffee table is rectangular, with two tempered smoked glass tops supported by a gilded brass structure. The legs are adorned with buttons, a characteristic detail of Pierre Vandel furniture. This table dates from the 1970s, is heavy, very stable, and of high quality. The lines are simple and elegant, suitable for a classic or contemporary interior. The thick glass tops (6 mm) are removable for easy cleaning. They are original and show some normal superficial scratches for a piece of furniture over 50 years old.
