Salins Caprice cake plate

Salins "caprice" cake plate with wonderful artwork by r. Cruaz in a mid century style. The caprice model is hard to find and has a deep cream background, accenting the black and yellow design. It is sized to hold a full sized cake and has small side handles. Made in the 1960's. Free of cracks and chips, it has been well-loved in the past and therefore some small parts of the paintwork has eroded. The centre between the artwork has some light usage traces also. It remains a lovely and unique piece by salins, one of france's popular ceramic creators in the mid century.
