Iconic French armchair produced by VIBO in Vesoul in the 1950s, embodying the sculptural elegance of Mid-Century French design. The structure is made of thermoformed stained beech wood, offering a fluid and airy architectural silhouette thanks to its wide cantilevered curved armrests. This modernist rigor is softened by the organic texture of the seat and backrest made from hand-woven natural cord. A centrepiece that aligns with the spirit of creations by Adrien Audoux & Frida Minet, Charlotte Perriand, or Pierre Chapo. In very good original condition. A rare feature of this model: the original cord is remarkably preserved, perfectly taut, with no breaks or major discolouration. The wooden structure retains its period patina with very light signs of use consistent with its age and authenticity. A stable, sound piece ready to be installed.
