Antique wardrobe Mellier & Co with mirror door

We are delighted to offer for sale this original antique wardrobe fully stamped Mellier & Co, sold by George Hilton & Son, in Shabby Chic Anglo-French style, which is part of a set that includes a matching dressing table listed among my other items. Mellier & Co operated in London at 60 Margaret Street and Cavendish Square; this Anglo-French company took over the family business Monbro in the 1880s. This wardrobe, born from the shabby chic style boom initiated by Mellier & Co, features period paint that has aged and worn in certain areas, with signs of patina related to age and use visible throughout the piece. Dimensions taken at the widest point: Height: 234.5 cm, Width: 119 cm, Depth: 73 cm.
