Set consisting of 4 Italian chairs from the 1960s, designed by Gianfranco Frattini for the publisher Cassina. They are made of solid teak with black Skai upholstery. We love their unique design, the elegant fuselage of the legs, the crossbars providing perfect sturdiness, but especially the curved woodwork on the backrest. Thus, these chairs offer an almost sculptural appearance and a very interesting finesse to the whole. The comfort of the backrest is very pleasant, with its ergonomic curve. The grain and colour of the wood are very elegant, with a very slight shade difference between the seat back and the rest of the teak structure, providing a beautiful contrast overall. Very good general condition of the wood and upholstery. One or two crossbars of one chair have been re-glued. Dimensions - W 46 X D 47 X H 81 cm. Seat dimensions - W 46 X D 40 X H 46 cm.
