Pastel still life of iris and carnations

This old pastel represents a large bouquet filled with irises and carnations. Is its author an amateur painter. (the signature may be under the frame). The certainty we have is that this one lacked neither talent nor poetry. Indeed, he managed to capture the essence of these flowers in a unique way. Each petal seems to carry its own shade.
