Elm desk Maison Regain

Desk in solid blond elm attributed to Maison Regain in the style of Pierre Chapo, featuring two compartments opening to two drawers on the left and two drawers on the right, one of which is very large with suspended files. This version is rare! It rests on four rectangular-section legs, connected by a stretcher of the same section and two other lateral stretchers at right angles. In good condition with signs of use. Note a slight warp (the wood has worked) on the top of less than 1 millimetre over 1/3 of the length, which is hardly noticeable. This piece has stood the test of time and may have some light marks on the wood, visible in the photos but which do not detract from its beautiful appearance. Work completed in the 1970s.
