Large pedestal table with Empire-era corbels

A substantial round mahogany veneer pedestal table with three curved, lacquered and gilded wooden legs decorated with raven heads, joined by a stretcher on a three-sided openwork plinth. Molded black granite top. Early 19th century. This piece was refreshed and revarnished approximately twenty years ago by the previous owners.
