Ain's artisanal vegetable-patterned dish

Here is a grey sandstone dish decorated with blue plant motifs. It was made some thirty years ago for a couple of potters, merccion in jayat, in the ain not far from bourg-en-bresse. It is very good general condition, just had a shock on one of its handles/ ears, where two pieces were glued back (see dedicated photo). It is 27 cm by 25 cm and 6.5 cm high and weighs about 915 grams.
