Pair of glass and brass wall lights by Carl Fagerlund for Orrefors, 1960.

Superb pair of genuine brass and glass wall sconces, 1960. Design by Carl Fagerlund. Created in collaboration between the Danish lighting manufacturer Lyfa and the Swedish glassworks Orrefors. The fact that these lights are no longer produced makes them rare collector's items. Thick, textured, curved transparent glass shades. The shades are attached with 2 brass buttons to polished brass wall plates. The wall sconces illuminate beautifully thanks to the reflection of the bulb on the brass plates. Original labels intact. Can be used with switch wiring or directly connected to a wall via the round opening on the brass plate. Each piece weighs 1.7 kg. Each wall sconce requires 1 E27 bulb, max 25 W. LED compatible. Light wear consistent with the age and use of these pieces. Recently polished brass to give it a fresh visual appeal. The price stated is for the pair (2 wall sconces).
