Quétin nicole (1934-2013) l'herbe allume ses claires, circa 1990. Original etching and aquatint in black on arches vellum. Signed in pencil lower right and numbered 5/60 lower left. Information: born and living in the paris region, nicole quétin is a french painter, teacher, lithographer and engraver. She trained in copper engraving in jean delpéch's studio in paris from 1969. An abstract artist influenced by nature, she has participated in numerous solo exhibitions (including the first two at the cimaises ventadour gallery, paris, in 1975 and 1979) and group exhibitions (salon d'automne at the grand palais 1972-1986; salon comparaisons (groupe lettre et signe 1972-1986; salon des indépendants 1972-1987...). Eighty of her engravings have been deposited at the bibliothèque nationale de france (bnf).
