Preparatory gouache drawing for a silk design. Signed on the reverse, Paul Putois. This artist was a French draftsman and painter. Stamp of the Ray company, 33 rue du Louvre, Paris. In the style of André Masson, this drawing can be dated to around 1950-1960. Some tears along the edges and pinholes in the corners, which will be hidden by framing.
