Mid-century ceramic vase by Louis Bacculini, Vallauris, 1950s/60s

Mid-century ceramic decorative vase/chalice by the famous ceramicist louis bacculini of vallauris, circa 1960s. This beautiful 20th century glazed ceramic piece is by no means an industrial production piece and has a very cool design with polychrome decoration, with different shades of blue, green, cream and brown on the entire structure (see photos), and a cream color on the inside (see photos). It is signed and monogrammed "lb décor main vallauris" under the base (see photos). Louis bacculini associated with the ceramicist simone canne began a relatively confidential production from 1946. The piece is in very good overall, original and vintage condition, with some light marks, signs of age and previous use consistent with time, as well as a patina of time, on the entire structure, the rim, the edges and under the base (see photos). A small mark of use on the rim (see photo with a 1 cent coin), a slight age mark on the inside at the top, slight marks of age and previous use on the base, which do not affect its overall appearance and beauty. There are no cracks or chips on the body (see photos). The piece has only been gently cleaned, respecting the original patina of time. All photos were taken in natural light, indoors, and therefore the colors may vary depending on the brightness, angles and perspective from which they are viewed. A magnificent piece for collectors of exceptional vallauris ceramics.
