Extremely rare vase designed early 1930s by Béwé (pseudonym of the CEO of Thonet Freres Paris, Bruno Weil). Marked with the paper Thonet label and in a fully original condition. One of the most sought after Modernist Thonet items. Maybe there are more but we only know one or two other B140 vases. The condition is good and fully original. Some loss of chrome and black paint and the bottom of the glass inner tube is lost. Height: 30, 5 CM; diameter wooden base: 13 CM.
