Pair of biomorphic candlesticks 47cm in solid aluminum.

Superb and very rare pair of large biomorphic candlesticks (XL size of 47 cm) made of polished solid aluminum, characteristic of Spanish organic design from the 1970s (often attributed to the work of Malamar Studio). While the standard 35 cm model can sometimes be found individually, this monumental 47 cm version presented in a symmetrical pair is a true rarity in the current market. Their fluid, biomorphic, and almost moving line beautifully captures light. True sculptures as much as utilitarian objects, these candlesticks will strongly adorn a Scandinavian sideboard, a fireplace, or a minimalist dining table. In good overall condition. Note some micro-scratches on the surface, quite normal for a piece of aluminum from the 70s. The underside of each piece still has its original black felt, perfectly protecting your furniture from scratches. Weight of the pair 2.1 kg.
