Edit of 01/26: It seems I was mistaken!!! Rather from the publishing house Nuovo Rinascimento, research is ongoing, and as soon as I have more certainties, I will come back to share them here. This wonderful large vase in glazed ceramic showcases great mastery, both in the work of the glaze colour in shades of blue and green and in the very fine decorative motifs with beautiful reliefs that form friezes all around the vase. For me, there is no doubt that this vase can be attributed to Aldo Londi for the Bitossi Ceramiche company in the 60s or 70s: these motifs and colours, although different from those of the Rimini Blu collection, which is the most famous collection created by Aldo Londi for Bitossi, appear on several vases formally attributed to Londi. The turquoise blue glaze speckled with off-white on the neck of the vase and the black streaks under its base are also characteristic. This vase has not passed through the decades without issues; it should be adopted with its flaws, meaning it has 5 chips or nicks on the glaze (two on the upper rim, two on the body, and one on the lowest frieze), but fortunately, they are located on the same section (1/4 of the circumference), which still allows for displaying this vase without the defects being too noticeable! Alternatively, consider a small restoration by a professional, and this vase certainly deserves it. It measures 25.5 cm in height, approximately 17 cm in diameter at the body, and 11 cm in diameter at the opening.
