Double-sided desk in solid oak – 19th century – Charpenterie Clichy. Magnificent double-sided desk in solid oak, made in the 19th century by Charpenterie Clichy, a workshop renowned for the quality of its creations. The desk offers two identical workstations, each equipped with: 4 small side drawers, 1 large central drawer. This piece of furniture has been passed down through generations in our family, giving it authentic charm and a beautiful patina of time. General condition: The desk remains solid and functional, but some restorations are to be expected: The central top has become detached from the side tops. The legs have been shortened in the past, with visible reinforcement brackets. The entire wood would benefit from light sanding and surface renovation. The keys for the drawers have been misplaced (the drawers open without issue, however). This piece has great potential for lovers of antique furniture and restoration.
