Rectangular terrine La Bourguignonne

Antique rectangular terrine in glazed terracotta by La Bourguignonne, featuring an elegant gradient of tobacco brown and warm cream typical of mid-20th century French rustic kitchenware. Its domed lid with double vents gives it a simple yet very graphic line, being as decorative as it is functional. Stamped La Bourguignonne, specialising in robust culinary earthenware designed for slow and traditional cooking, with thick and durable glazes particularly appreciated in French family kitchens. In good vintage condition, with some signs of use and discreet internal marks visible, consistent with its age, and three chips on the edge at the base (see photos). Length 26 cm, width 18.5 cm, height with lid 10.5 cm, height without lid 9 cm. For the interior, 18 cm long, 12 cm wide, and 7 cm deep. A piece with dense relief and deep tobacco tones.
