Vintage covered butter dish in Gien ceramic, "Vesuvius" pattern.

A vintage covered butter dish from Gien, the historic French ceramics house, hand-painted in the "Vesuvius" pattern. The lid is edged with a textured rust-brown glaze that blends into the ivory body, featuring a speckled brown and white knob for a rustic look, reminiscent of a hand-turned piece. Marked on the base with the Gien France stamp, it brings a true story of French table art to a breakfast table or kitchen countertop, suitable for both everyday use and as a decorative object. height: 10 cm depth: 12 cm length: 16 cm
