The “Allen” table was designed by Wright in 1917 for the residence of Henry J. Allen in Wichita, Kansas. The “Taliesin 2” table dates back to 1925; it was used by Wright as a dining table in the living room of his famous study-home, which he built in 1911 on a hill in Spring Green, southern Wisconsin, and which was destroyed twice by fire – and rebuilt each time. The sturdiness and austerity of the tables recall the style and quality that characterise the American Arts and Crafts movement. They also reflect the signs of Wright's wonderful and timeless architecture: the simple yet elegant use of geometries, the pursuit of harmony, and the close connection with nature. Structure in solid American cherry wood. American cherry top, natural or lacquered, also available in other dimensions. * Technical details. * Inspired by: Frank Lloyd Wright. * HANDCRAFTED * UNIQUE STRUCTURE AND SPECIAL WELDING 6 “Coonley 2 Natural Cherry” chairs by Frank Lloyd Wright.
