Refectory table in solid oak and 6 chairs, 17th–18th century

Superb set consisting of a solid oak refectory table with its table runner, accompanied by six hazelwood chairs. Originating from Southern Germany, this set dates from the late 17th to early 18th century. This period furniture combines robustness and authenticity, enhanced by a beautiful patina that reflects over three centuries of history. The chairs are fitted with small custom-made cushions, adding comfort and elegance. Please note: - one of the chairs is a 20th-century copy, indistinguishable from the other five. - the tapestry table runner is period but is in an unrestored condition. The set is sold with a certificate from an antique dealer attesting to its origin and authenticity.
