His works are exhibited in museums in tokyo and montreal. He was based in annecy (savoie) and often executed his pieces based on the drawings of rené herbst or francis jourdain. He began making ceramics in the savoyard tradition but harmonizing the form with his designs and colors. At the 1925 decorative arts exhibition in paris, the ceramist offered simple pieces, with a white background, punctuated with stylized geometric or floral designs in keeping with the modernist spirit of the time. He also received a gold medal for his creations. It is the consecration that leads to numerous orders and prestigious visits to his workshop such as the governor of mauritius, the vuitton family or the besnards.
