Rattan and bamboo deck chair from around 1940.

A deck chair, or sun lounger, made of woven rattan decorated with a blue and orange trim in the centre, with a gendarme hat-shaped backrest, and a structure and legs made of bamboo. The footrest is removable, allowing the sun lounger to become a garden chair. It is adjustable to three positions at the back. The armrests are slightly darker (due to use); a rattan ring, pivoting at the bottom of the backrest, is split. The backrest folds completely, allowing for space-saving during winter storage. Period: around 1940. Dimensions: height 100 cm, length 56 cm (excluding footrest), total length when unfolded 170 cm, seat width 48 cm, total width 72 cm. In good condition.
