Elegant Art Deco side table in solid rosewood and rosewood veneer, probably dating from the 1930s. With great architectural sobriety, it is distinguished by its base composed of two full vertical panels, joined by a low crossbar. These panels rest on slightly overhanging bases with rounded ends, adding a subtle softness to the geometric rigor of the whole. The rectangular top, made of solid rosewood, features a slightly raised surface, highlighted by a thick band with clean lines. The rosewood reveals a rich grain with deep shades of brown and red, particularly enhanced by the simplicity of the construction. With its balanced proportions, clean design, and emphasis on material, this table fits within the vocabulary of modernist furniture from the interwar period.
