Half-moon console table, extendable in Empire style.

Console table in the shape of a half-moon made of mahogany in Empire style with 6 square tapered legs mounted on golden brass sabots. A highly versatile model offering 3 positions: 1) Console position (half-moon), ideal against a wall or in an entrance for maximum space saving. 2) Round table position: comfortably accommodates 4 people (the console top easily unfolds thanks to golden brass hinges). 3) Large dining table position: allows for up to 8 guests with its opening system. Intermediate legs, fixed on wooden slides, extend to support the opening and ensure good stability. Sliding opening system, and double half-circle tops that unfold like a portfolio to form a round top of 110 cm in diameter. The double tops are made of mahogany veneer with red and luminous reflections. The legs extend further to incorporate 2 extensions, forming a dining table of 188 cm in length. The extensions have been redone in stained solid wood; their shade and appearance are more matte and differ from the original glossy varnish of the original tops. The table is in very good overall condition, sound, stable, and solid. The movement of the wooden slides is smooth, making opening and closing very easy. Dimensions of the console: 110 cm wide, 75 cm high, 56 cm deep. Height under the apron 61 cm. Ø 110 cm for the round table. Maximum length of the table: 188 cm.
