This is a wonderful unique studio pottery bowl from the famous Belgian workshop Guérin, then run by Jules Guérin, son of Roger Guérin. A very striking piece with a stunning colour - 'Sang de Boeuf' red. Thick and richly glazed, with beautiful blue/green marine details and a very pronounced craftsmanship quality. Very elegant and timeless. A wonderful piece for your desk, sideboard, or table. A fantastic and unique piece of mid-century Belgian studio pottery from the Charleroi region, the centre of Walloon pottery production in the mid-20th century. Excellent vintage condition with no flaws.
