Vintage African bronze mask from Bamoun, Cameroon

Beautiful African handcrafted bronze mask, Bamoun, Cameroon. Ethnic art. Traditional lost wax casting technique. Decorative purpose, wall or to put on a base, vintage manufacture 60s-80s. Depicting a smiling bearded man with bulging eyes, a king crowned with a face and 2 lizards among other stylized motifs. Domed shape. Hollow mouth and nostrils. Nice detail work, beautiful well finished model. In bronze, brown and gold tones, some blue and white oxidation. 26cm high, 22cm wide, 7cm deep max. Very good condition, patina of time, some natural oxidation quite present, beautiful old appearance. Approximately 1, 200kg.
