Degué: an important chandelier from the Art Nouveau period made of wrought iron, dating from the early 20th century, featuring an elegant naturalistic decor inspired by vines. The patinated wrought iron frame is suspended by three long branches and is organised around a large central bowl. The belt is richly adorned with vine leaves, bunches of grapes, and tendrils, while the side arms end in wide scrolls. The light fixture is equipped with a significant central bowl made of marbled glass and three matching conical tulips. The glasswork displays beautiful speckled shades in beige, violet, brown, and orange tones, particularly warm when the chandelier is lit. The upper rosette, also designed in a vegetal spirit, harmoniously completes the composition. A chandelier of fine decorative quality, characteristic of the naturalistic taste of Art Nouveau, remarkable for its dimensions, its wrought iron vine decor, and the harmony of its four glass pieces.
