6 Thonet Mundus bistro chairs

6 Mundus bistro chairs made of bent wood, with caned seats. Beautiful patina of time; some chips on the caning but not affecting the seat at all. Signs of use on the wood (friction, scratches). Still some labels under the seat. Replacement of a few nuts and screws during the caning renewal by the previous owner. Backrest height: 88 cm. Seat height: 47 cm. Depth: 53 cm. Width: 40 cm. The company merged with the famous manufacturer Thonet in 1921 to form the Mundus-Thonet entity. Paper label generally dating from the late 19th century or the first quarter of the 20th century.
