Very beautiful character presence for this rare small sculptural stool made of solid wood with remarkable biomorphic work. Its open organic shapes and faceted top give it a unique presence, halfway between furniture and sculpture. Ideal as a side table, pedestal for a piece of art or a plant, or simply as a decorative object in a contemporary, brutalist, or wabi-sabi interior. Beautiful wood patina. Vintage piece showing signs of use consistent with its age. Note a crack on one leg, but it remains completely stable.
